By accessing or using the Site You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You disagree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Site.

1. The Site

The Site is a personal informational guide. The content — essays, FAQ answers, photographs — is for general information and reflects personal experience and publicly available information at the time of writing. The Site is not professional travel, safety, aeronautical, legal or financial advice. You are responsible for Your own decisions.

2. Not an official source

The Site is not affiliated with any balloon operator in Cappadocia, with the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Türkiye (SHGM), with the Ministry of Culture & Tourism, with the Nevşehir governorship or with any municipal authority. Flight times, prices, cancellations, pickup, refund terms and age limits are decided by individual operators and by regulators and are not controlled by Us.

3. No ticket sales

The Site does not sell flights, does not reserve slots, does not process payments, and does not operate customer accounts. Nothing on the Site is an offer capable of acceptance. If You wish to book a flight You must do so with a licensed operator directly.

4. Prices and availability

Prices described on the Site are the author’s observation of market rates. They are not quotations. Actual prices are set by individual operators and change by season and by capacity.

5. Intellectual property

The written content of the Site is the property of Steve Bicknell except where credited otherwise. You may quote a short passage for criticism, review, news or private study, with attribution and a link to the page. You may not republish a full page or re-use the photographs without prior written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site in any way that violates applicable law; to send advertising or spam to the email addresses published here; to impersonate the owner or any public authority; to introduce malware or to attempt unauthorised access to the server; to scrape the Site in a manner that degrades the service for other readers; or to republish the Site as Your own guide.

Mountains, weather, aircraft and ground vehicles are not under Our control. A page on this Site is not a flight condition report. You are responsible for Your own safety on the ground, in the basket and on the drive to and from the field.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. BECAUSE THE SITE IS FREE AND DOES NOT SELL YOU A FLIGHT, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY EUROS (€50), EXCEPT WHERE A STATUTE DOES NOT PERMIT THAT CAP.
