This Privacy Policy describes how Cappadocia Balloon Ticket Guide (the “Site”) handles the information of visitors. It applies to the single owner of the Site; there is no company, no team, no employees.

1. Who We are

The Site is a personal, non-commercial project of Steve Bicknell, resident at Göreme, Nevşehir Province, Türkiye. The owner is the data controller for any personal data processed in connection with this Site.

2. What We collect

The Site does not require an account, does not operate a newsletter, has no comment system, does not sell goods and does not take payments. The only personal data We receive is what You put into an email to Us.

The hosting provider keeps a standard web server access log: IP address, time of the request, URL requested, HTTP status code, browser user-agent string, and the referring page if the browser sent one. Access logs are kept for a short rolling window and are then rotated out by the host.

The Site does not use analytics software. The Site does not run advertising pixels. The Site does not embed third-party fonts, video players, comment systems or social-media plugins. The Site does not set tracking cookies and does not display a cookie-consent banner because there is no optional tracker to accept or refuse.

3. GDPR — EU and UK

Our processing may rely on one of the following legal bases: Consent, where You give it, for example by writing to Us; Legitimate interests, for example keeping the server secure and answering a message You started; Legal obligation, where applicable.

You may request access to the personal data We hold about You, request correction or deletion, object to processing, or request restriction. Write to the address on the contact page. We will respond within one month. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in Your country.

4. KVKK — Türkiye

The Site is operated from the Republic of Türkiye and is subject to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu, Law No. 6698, “KVKK”). We process the limited data described above only for the operation of the Site and for communication with You, in accordance with the principles of Article 4 of KVKK. You may exercise the rights listed in Article 11 of KVKK by writing to the address on the contact page.

5. Retention

Email You send Us is kept in the mailbox until the matter is closed and for a short period afterwards; it is then deleted. We do not add Your email address to any mailing system because there is no mailing system. Server access logs are kept for the short rolling period described above.

6. Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for marketing or profiling. We may disclose data only to comply with a legal obligation or to protect the rights or safety of the Site or its users.

7. Children

The Site is a general-audience information page. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. If you came from an advertisement

The Site does not purchase advertising. There is no Google Ads account, no Facebook business page, no affiliate programme. If this page appeared next to an advertisement in a search result, in a “related content” widget on another site, or inside a browser-recommended-content feed, that placement was not made by Us.

Search engines and advertising networks sometimes display paid advertisements for ticket sellers next to ordinary information pages. This site does not sell tickets. If You were looking for a checkout page, You are on the wrong website. Balloon flights are sold directly by the licensed operators in Cappadocia.

If You believe You were charged by a third party under the impression that the third party was an official seller, keep the receipt and contact the institution that issued Your card. A chargeback dispute with Your card issuer is the correct path.

9. Cookies

The Site does not set its own tracking cookies. The server software or Your browser may use a strictly necessary session mechanism for an ordinary page request; that mechanism does not identify You to Us.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Updated” date at the top will change when We do.
